Last season Christian played Jonathan Harker in The Passion of Dracula and Jim Tyrone in A Moon for the Misbegotten for First Folio, and appeared in Mid-Winter's Tales and John Bull's Other Island for ShawChicago, where he is an ensemble member. He also played Oberon in First Folio's outreach production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. He has also directed outreach productions of Romeo and Juliet and Shakespeare's Warring and Wooing for First Folio, and has previously appeared in A Midsummer Night's Dream (1998), The Taming of the Shrew (1999 & 2005), Romeo and Juliet, Much Ado About Nothing (2000), Twelfth Night (2002), The Importance of Being Earnest, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, Private Lives, and Jeeves Intervenes. He has performed with over a dozen Chicago area companies, including Court Theatre, Remy Bumppo, and Writers' Theatre, appearing in two Jeff Award winning shows: Are You Now or Have You Ever Been...? (Next Theatre- Best Ensemble) and Ghetto (Famous Door - Best Production). Regional credits include Fort Worth Shakespeare (TX), Kentucky Repertory Theatre, and Pennsylvania Stage Company. He will return to First Folio this winter to reprise the role of Bertie Wooster in Jeeves in Bloom.
