| TOURING SHOWS & EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH Click Here to Receive a Brochure
First Folio's Educational Outreach Program began in 1996. To date, we have performed for over 50,000 students at over 80 schools. With four different shows aimed for Elementary Students, Middle School Students, and High School Students, First Folio has something for every school. First Folio also has an artist-in-residence program, which would allow one of our Artistic Associates to come spend a day or more at your school, working with your teachers and students to bring the joy of live Shakespeare to the classroom. If you would like a brochure, or wish to have someone contact you, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page. For more information on specific shows, just click on the title of the shows below.
Written with the younger students in mind, Master Shakespeare introduces them to the Bard, who takes them back to 16th Century Stratford and London.
Shakespeare's Warring and Wooing Created for both Middle and High school students, Warring and Wooing uses scenes from such classics as Romeo and Juliet and The Taming of the Shrew to help students see how much fun the Bard's works can be.
The Fifty Minute Romeo and Juliet All of the romance, excitement, and sorrow of Shakespeare's greatest tragedy in a single class period. The perfect way to introduce your students to the beauty of the Bard in a show teenagers still relate to 400 years after it was first performed.
Frolicking fairies, star-crossed lovers and bumbling mechanicals - bring the joy and laughter of one of Shakespeare's greatest comedies to your students!
Artist-in-Residence Program Artistic Associates are available to come to your school for a day, a week, or a month to work with your students. Call for details.
